The Escapism Tour is the brain child of Paul Dunton & Managing Director/Owner of Genetic Promotions & Artist Agency UK, Oliver Tully. The tour encompasses 8 US States and 12 shows. The Paul Dunton Quintet is a collaberation of some of the UK's highest level of Classical Musicians in a Classical/Pop format.

Compared to the musical writting likes of Bacharach and Lennon/McCartney, the group have been hailed in the UK by The BBC and Play Magazine. A tour that should not be missed and that will leave theAudiences longing for more........

Classically trained Phoebe Katis was selected for support of the Paul Dunton Quintet US tour from over 200 artists. Her music and style encompasses styles including Indie Pop, Contemporary Folk and Jazz. A voice the captivates her listeners, she has taken her main influences being that of Eva Cassidy, Edwina Hayes and Alicia Keys, to create a sound and style all her own.

Pulling musical aspects from the likes Norah Jones and KT Tunstall, an artist that will soon be headlining her own US and World tours and one defiently to look out for in the future.

For certain larger venues and events, Paul often performs with his 'Orchestra' creating a powerful and atmospheric performance whilst adding further layers and subtle textures to the live sound. Paul's Orchestra which comprises a line up of up to 12 violins, 6 cellos, double bass, 2 flutes, guitar and piano alongside his three female vocalists; Members of Paul's Orchestra play for some of the UK's leading Orchestra's including The Hallé and The London Philharmonic.


Paul Dunton's distinct songwriting and arrangements combine the atmospher of Vaughan Williams and Rachmaninov with the melodic sensibilities found in composers such as Bacharach and Lennon/McCartney. Sara Parker - BBC Radio

In addition she pulls certain musical aspects from artists such as KT Tunstall, Nerina Pallot and Norah Jones.
